PMID: 36995441 and PMID: 38385883 report four unrelated individuals with biallelic ADGB variants causing severe asthenoteratozoospermia. Functional studies including loss of ADGB protein in patient sperm and Adgb-/- male mice were infertile with immobile sperm.
