Green List (high evidence)

- Lesch-Nyhan syndrome is characterized by uric acid overproduction, motor dysfunction resembling severe cerebral palsy (onset first year of life), intellectual disability (mild to moderate), and self-injurious behavior (most often develops between ages two and four years).
- Clinical spectrum depends on enzyme deficiency; with complete loss associated with classical LNS while residual enzymatic activities are associated with overproduction of uric acid but no apparent neurological or behavioural deficits.

NB: ClinGen uses MONDO:0010298 for Lesch-Nyhan syndrome
